Editorial Policy

Aims & Scope

The primary aim of the Journal 

is to highlight issues that are relevant for discussion in the international community

and to publish research papers that have theoretical and practical significance for the educational sphere.


The main content of the publications are Full Articles (research) and Review Papers (perspectives).

The Leading purposes of the Journal:

  • To consolidate the academic and educational community in order to promote the development of its research activities for the educational sphere; 
  • To create a platform for discussion of integrated academic scientific and educational research conducted at the university, in Russia, in the world community.

 

The name of Journal completely reflects its plan (research applicable to the educational sphere). 

A characteristic feature of the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University is the combination of high-level educational programs with the active development of research centers, institutes.

Research and education activities are carried out in such areas as pedagogy, theory and methods of teaching, psychology, biology sciences, safety of life activity, mathematics, history, philology. 

Papers devoted to particular research problems in all these fields of research are published in different Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University research Journals.

Necessity of more active information interchange has led to creation of the electronic Journal informing on research and methodical activity of high school.

The Electronic Journal has the advantages as more flexible and operative edition.


Publication and Archiving policy

The main content of the Journal publication are research and review articles (research applicable to the educational sphere).

The average number of weeks between submission and publication is 15 and more.

The Journal have not a waiver policy (for developing country authors etc.). In the Journal can be published any author apart from his residence, nationality etc.

If author presents material, not released before and not supposed to be published simultaneously in other Journals.

The main contents Journal publication policies aimed at identifying misconduct such as possible data fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, image manipulation, unethical research, biased reporting, authorship abuse, redundant or duplicate publication, and undeclared conflicts of interest.

The Journal use a digital archiving policy of the National Library (ELibrary).

The Journal use DOI as the article identifiers.

Author can archive pre-print, post-print and publisher's version/PDF


Journal's Open Access Statement

This is an open access Journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution.

Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author.

Open Accessfree for readers, with article processing charges (APC) paid by authors or their institutions.

This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of Open Access.


Content Licensing policy

All the articles of the Journal are Open Access articles distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited. (CC BY 4.0).

The Journal is the embed and display simple machine-readable CC licensing information in its articles. 


Copyright and Permissions

Free recall of the Journal’s material is allowed for personal purposes. 

Free use is permitted for informational, academic, educational and cultural purposes in compliance of paragraphs 1273 and 1274 of chapter 70, part IV (Russian Federation Civil Codex). Other types of use are possible only after making agreements in writing with copyright holder. 

At citing the reference to the Journal is obligatory.

The materials published in the Journal are for non-commercial use only.
