Abstract:

The results of our experiments showed that the red blood cells healthy pregnant women were more resistant to the effects of high electric field than the red blood cells of women with disorders of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase. Due to the intensive consumption of selenium during pregnancy, erythrocytes women in late pregnancy are more resistant to induced oxidation than red blood cells of pregnant women carrying the gene deficiency of the enzyme glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase.
