Abstract: 

The article is devoted to the possibility of using some of the modern computer technologies in educational process at the Department of Botany of the Southern Federal University (multimedia presentations, manuals, digital databases). The specifics of their application while holding some of botanical subjects (laboratory exercises, lectures, educational practices) is considered. The complex of electronic learning-methodical manuals for the field practice for students of botany of SFU has been analyzed.
